Become a Permaculture Aid Volunteer (PAVE)
Volunteering is an amazing opportunity to practice hands-on skills and see your work making a difference. The PAVE program – Permaculture Aid Volunteer Experience has been designed to give those interested in aid work an opening to test their abilities in the field and make a real difference doing something meaningful for the planet and for the people. PAVE gives participants a direct experience of the realities, challenges and peaks of elation possible in aid work in a secure location. You can find out more about the PAVE program here.
Currently we’re looking for skilled volunteers with permaculture design education behind them (minimum training level PDC). We’re using only local resources on all projects in the Philippines so the more multi-skilled you are, the better! Currently, there are openings for volunteers with the following skill sets:
- experienced tradespeople who can operate in developing countries
- horticulturists specialising in nurseries using organic and local resources only
- high level nutritionists, healthy cooks and caterers and natural food educators
If you are highly skilled with proven experience and interested in volunteering, please email us here with your resume and skill list to apply.
Become an advocate for Permaculture Aid
If the mission of Permaculture Aid has touched your heart and put a tingle in your finger tips, it’s time to take some action that supports this work in the world. You may decide to help raise money by hosting a fundraising event, or contact local businesses to ask directly for in-kind donations of tools and supplies or even send us some organic seeds. You could write a song, an article or blog post, make a film or anything you’re inspired to dream up that supports aid that honours the earth and the people in sustainable ways. Contact us for specific details of the current project needs and let us know how Permaculture Aid is unfolding in your life!
