Meet the Recon Team of Green Warrior Permaculture Aid: Brittany Laidlaw
Brittany Laidlaw is a climate change activist and permaculture aid specialist on her way to the Philippines as part of the first Recon team. Brittany has a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Enterprise and Environmental Studies which led her to discover and embrace Permaculture as a way of life. Brittany has an extensive background working with young children in permaculture education and specializes in post-trauma relief, making her a highly valuable aid relief team member. Brittany believes that permaculture can be used as a powerful tool to change society’s current unsustainable systems, by empowering children to bring about the change that the world needs. She strongly believes that young people are central to creating resilient communities and that they play an important role in generating hope for the future. Brittany joins the team with her partner Mark (Wombat) and together these two dynamic individuals form one powerful force for permaculture aid relief.
